A tragic incident occurred in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday, where a youth from Mokama, Bihar, died after falling from the Antyodaya Express. According to the police, the incident took place around 5 pm when the train was passing through Narsinghpur railway station. Onlookers immediately informed railway officials after witnessing the youth fall, but the rescue efforts were unsuccessful. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Vikas Kumar (formerly known as Vikas Kumar Singh), a resident of the Mokama police station area.
The police stated that Vikas Kumar had left his home a year ago and had returned on the same day of the incident. His family members claimed that he had been under mental stress for a long time. At the time of the incident, Vikas was leaning out of the train's window to look at something, which caused him to lose his balance and fall. The train staff applied the brakes immediately, but it was too late. Police and railway officials who arrived at the scene have initiated an investigation into the matter.
