Congress party workers staged a protest in Udaipur against the continuous increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, and cooking gas (LPG) cylinders. Participating in the demonstration held on Thursday, workers expressed their anger by raising slogans against government policies. Thousands of Congress workers gathered in key areas of Udaipur city, where the protest took place. Mahesh Sharma, Udaipur district secretary of Congress, who was part of the protest, said, "Petrol and diesel prices are rising every day, severely impacting the lives of common people. The government must take appropriate action on this."
During the protest, Congress workers raised slogans like "Stop price hikes" and "Give justice to the people." Along with the rise in fuel prices, the cost of LPG cylinders has also skyrocketed, causing immense hardship to middle- and lower-class families. In this backdrop, the Congress party has expressed strong resentment against the government. Protesters urged the government to immediately take steps to control prices.
