Hyderabad, May 25, 2026 – In a proactive move to combat rising cyber threats, Hyderabad Police Commissioner S.V. Rajashekar Babu launched a specialized training program titled “NTR Police Khaki Studio” on Monday. The initiative is designed to equip police constables with advanced skills in cyber safety and the prevention of cyber offenses using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Under the program, one police constable from each police station within the commissionerate will undergo a five-day intensive training session focused on leveraging AI tools to identify, investigate, and prevent cybercrimes.
Speaking at the launch event, Commissioner Babu emphasized the critical role of technology in modern policing, stating that AI-driven training will empower frontline officers to tackle cyber threats more effectively. “Cybercrimes are evolving at an unprecedented pace, and our constables must be prepared with the right tools and knowledge to protect citizens,” he said. The program reflects the police department’s commitment to adopting innovative solutions to enhance public safety and strengthen cybersecurity infrastructure in the city.
