Acting on information provided by a local resident, a police team swung into action and arrested the man. The arrested individual, identified as Rahul Shinde (name changed), is a resident of a neighborhood in Pune. Police stated that Shinde had arranged the marriage after negotiating with the girl’s family, following which some people from the community informed the authorities.
