Speaking at a foundation-laying ceremony at Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall, Rao stated that the scheme is currently operational in 78 government hospitals across Karnataka, with over 450 lives already saved through timely intervention. The initiative, which focuses on early detection and treatment of ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI), is already functioning in three taluk hospitals in Dakshina Kannada—Bantwal, Belthangady, and Sullia. Under the expansion plan, facilities for rapid cardiac testing and emergency care will be established in every taluk center.
