Political rhetoric has intensified over the controversial 'Surya murder case' in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party (SP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeet Som stated in a statement on Monday that a legal notice has been issued in this case, and the administration will also take bulldozer action afterward. He alleged that the ruling party is trying to suppress the case. Som said, “Only the notice has been pasted so far, but bulldozers will soon follow.”
The Surya murder case has been making headlines in recent days. Several people have been arrested in connection with the murder of local youth Surya. The incident is alleged to have been driven by political pressure and caste tensions. SP leaders allege that the administration is not conducting a fair investigation into the case and is suppressing the victim’s family instead of delivering justice. Sanjeet Som said he would raise the issue at a higher level and make every possible effort to secure justice for the victim’s family.
