Agra, May 25, 2026: A tragic accident at a recreational facility in the Tajganj area of Agra has left a 16-year-old boy dead after a zipline cable snapped mid-ride, sending him plunging nearly 45 feet to the ground. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026, during a family outing, police confirmed on Monday.
Kunal Agrawal, a resident of Firozabad and the son of a bangle trader, Pankaj Agrawal, was enjoying the zipline ride when the cable allegedly malfunctioned. Police officials stated that the cable snapped midway, causing Kunal to fall from a significant height. Emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving information about the accident. The teenager was immediately taken to Sarojini Naidu Medical College (SNMC) in Agra, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
