Yadgir district in Karnataka faced severe disruption on Sunday after a bout of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds struck between 12:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., causing extensive damage to infrastructure and livestock. According to district administration sources, the storm resulted in the loss of five animals after they were struck by lightning. Additionally, 13 houses lost their tin roofs due to strong winds, while four more houses suffered partial damage across the district.
