The United Nations will posthumously honour two Indian peacekeepers on the International Day of UN Peacekeepers, observed on Friday. Lance Havildar Harbhajan Singh and Naib Subedar Sujit Kumar Pradhan, who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving under the UN flag, will be awarded the prestigious Dag Hammarskjold Medal by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The medal recognises their bravery and dedication in the line of duty.
