Varanasi, October 15, 2023 — During a meeting held to improve rail passenger facilities in Varanasi, local Members of Parliament (MPs) put forward key suggestions. The meeting was attended by Sanjay Gupta, General Manager (GM) of North Central Railway, who carefully listened to the concerns raised by passengers. The event took place at Varanasi Railway Station, where MPs highlighted major issues faced by travelers.
The MPs primarily emphasized the need for improvements in station facilities, including cleanliness, water supply, electricity, seating arrangements, and security measures. They pointed out that passengers visiting Varanasi—a city of religious and tourism importance—deserve better services.
