The clip began circulating widely on Thursday morning. In the footage, Bangera is seen laughing with stacks of notes draped around his neck and chest, while also enjoying a moment of revelry with friends or associates. As soon as the video spread on social media, people started expressing their anger.
According to police sources, Bangera has been booked in connection with the Pune Porsche car scam. In this fraud, Bangera and his team allegedly tampered with the software of Porsche cars using advanced technology and software, boosting their performance. It is alleged that they modified the cars to make them more powerful before selling them. The scam came to light last year and an investigation was initiated.
Following the viral video, Pune Police have not ruled out taking strict action against Bangera. Police sources have indicated that cases of defamation and disturbing public harmony may also be registered against Bangera and his associates featured in the video. The scandal has caused significant uproar in Maharashtra’s automobile sector.
