London, June 12 – Britain’s Armed Forces Minister James Heappey, formerly known as Al Carns, visited the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) ship Lyme Bay on Wednesday to inspect preparations for a possible joint military operation with France aimed at securing the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait, a critical chokepoint for global oil supplies, has seen heightened tensions amid stalled negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program and repeated maritime incidents involving commercial vessels.
