The systems were ordered from Eviden, a subsidiary of Atos, last year to upgrade computing infrastructure at premier Indian meteorological institutions. Speaking to PTI in a video interview, Rijiju stated that the original target for delivery was December, but the timeline has been significantly overshot, causing operational and strategic concerns.
