The District Co-operative Central Bank (DCCB) Ltd., Visakhapatnam, has delivered a strong financial performance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, driven by a diversified lending strategy and improved asset quality. Speaking exclusively to The Hindu on June 2, 2026, K. Tata Rao, who took charge as the bank’s Person-in-Charge (Chairman) on June 2, 2025, highlighted robust growth in total business and net profit.
According to Tata Rao, the bank’s total business grew by 18.74%, reaching ₹2,849.78 crore. Net profit surged by 82.65%, rising to ₹3.58 crore. This performance reflects the institution’s focus on prudent credit management and operational efficiency. Looking ahead, Tata Rao expressed confidence in the bank’s growth trajectory, setting a new financial target of ₹3,500 crore in total business.
