Addressing a public rally in Ahmedabad, Union Home Minister Amit Shah issued a stern warning to Bangladeshi infiltrators, urging them to voluntarily return to their home countries. He noted that many illegal immigrants who entered India are now leaving on their own. Shah cited reports from newspapers, stating that while large-scale infiltration was common during the Mamata Banerjee-led government in West Bengal, the situation has since changed. “We all want those who have entered India illegally to return to their own countries voluntarily,” he said.
