New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken about taking strict measures to address the issue of Bangladeshi infiltrators in West Bengal. During a crucial meeting on Monday, he stated that if infiltration in West Bengal is to be completely stopped, the state government must pay special attention to border security. Shah suggested that the state government itself should take this issue seriously and work on it earnestly.
Amit Shah announced several key steps to enhance security along the Bangladesh border in West Bengal. He said that more land will be handed over to the Border Security Force (BSF) so they can deploy effectively. Additionally, the process of fencing the Bangladesh border will be expedited to prevent illegal infiltration.
