Coimbatore’s VGM Hospital has inaugurated a specialized Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Clinic on the occasion of World Digestive Health Day, marking a significant step in addressing the growing burden of gastrointestinal disorders among India’s youth. The clinic, inaugurated by Dr. K.R. Palaniswamy, a senior gastroenterologist, is designed to provide comprehensive care for conditions such as Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, both of which are increasingly being diagnosed in adolescents and young adults across the country.
