The Karnataka State Mathematics Teachers' Federation (TGFFI) recently organised its annual convention, bringing to a close its three-day event in Bengaluru. The closing ceremony saw Dr. Ruchi from Udaipur assume office as the new president of the federation, succeeding the previous leadership. Dr. Ruchi, who has been actively involved in mathematics education and teacher training initiatives, formally took charge during the valedictory session on the final day.
The convention, held at a city-based venue, brought together hundreds of mathematics educators, school teachers, and academicians from across Karnataka and other states. Several academic sessions, workshops, and interactive discussions were organised, focusing on modern teaching methodologies, curriculum reforms, and the integration of technology in mathematics education. Delegates also deliberated on challenges faced by teachers in rural areas and strategies to enhance student engagement in the subject.
